Scheduler - the "x" beside the task doesnt remove the task or clear the assignments
Thanks Rachel for raising this one:
Scheduler - the "x" beside the task doesnt remove the task or clear the assignments
a) what is it supposed to do?
b) can it be fixed to do what it is supposed to do?

This has been fixed ( it now clears the assigned resource on the task) - released Oct 5th.

Add a secondary billing contact
Roz has askedd to add a secondary contact to pass through to Xero to get a copy of the invoice too (eg an accountant or office person), this will then marry up with xero and add another person. (note we discovered Xero only allows the second person to get emails if the primary contact has an email address)

My Job when invoiced in Xero isnt showing/hasnt calculated GST. How do I fix this?
Dionne asked: why GST wasnt showing on a job that was invoiced in Xero.

Thanks Dionne, the GST in Xero is driven at a line item level and needs the "Account" code (this is the Chart of Accounts Code in Xero) to match for GST to show, as it is set in Xero. In JobFlow against a Product, Material or Service you can select your GL Account (JobFlow retrieves these when you connect with Xero for you to select from), you can also select your GL Code when creating a JobTemplate for a "Task" to map to as well.
To select the GL Codes in JobFlow go to Settings, Stock, on the far right in JobFlow is the GL Code - click on Please Select and your chart of accounts codes will display for you to select from.
You can also add this when the invoice has come through to Xero as a work around until all of your GL codes have been selected.
Check also on on your " customer contact " in Xero to make sure the GST is set to default rather than "No GST" or "Zero Rated"

Customer Billing Details
When customers have email addresses next to them they automatically push through to Xero but several customers want their account by post rather than email. Therefore we need to remove those email addresses so their account doesn't automatically get sent to them, yet we still want to capture their email addresses somewhere.
Accounts are sometimes sent to a different email account than that of the farm owner (eg. their accountant) so we need to capture this also. Is it possible to add fields in the customer tab for the specific billing details that link directly with the relevant Xero fields?

Roz and I looked at this last week and the outcomes are a request to:
-add a secondary contact to pass through to Xero to get a copy of the invoice too (eg an accountant or office person), this will then marry up with xero and add another person. (note we discovered Xero only allows the second person to get emails if the primary one has an email address)
-add a tick box in JobFlow on their email to send/not send email address to Xero - and be able to report on this so you can produce a report of customers who dont want their invoices emailed (perhaps prefer them to be printed and sent). Xero doesnt have this capability (apart from omitting the email address on the customer contact) and if you do a batch send of invoices or statements there is no flag to our knowledge that says this customer wasnt sent an invoice/statement as they have no email address.
Hope I havent lost ya'll!

Where do I change the charge out rates on a task?
I am trying to change the charge out rates on a task on a job, where do I changed these?

Thanks Dionne and Rachel for your query on this one:)
Go to Settings then Templates. Select the Job Template that the task is on, then select the Task.
This will bring up either to the right -> of the task or below as in the example the chargeout rates for that task. Here I have selected "Mow" and can now add or edit the Charge Out rates from here.
This description becomes your line description on your invoice, so if you are connected with Xero for it to be recognised you would make it the same as your product description there. You can always change it on the invoice to a correct product description if you need to.

Site Hazard Check - can we record this in JobFlow?
The first person to site (or each person) should be carrying out a site hazard check - how does JobFlow handle this?

Scheduler - Group Jobs by Area
It would be fantastic if we could group jobs at a site location level by area so if we are travelling into that area we can see a job type eg "Maize Silage" all Job types by an area. This allows each contractor to define these as they like but not miss a job while working in an area.

Invoice Date - what date does JobFlow use as the invoice date?
What date does JobFlow use as an invoice date (which passes through to Xero or is printed on invoice? I think this should be job completed date (not job logged date or job started date).

The invoice is the date it a job status is set to "invoice".
We may need to pass a job "completed" date through to the invoice comments field(a new proposed field) as reference, as well as provide this on the billing summary for non-xero users. This way in Xero or your invoicing system you can change the invoice date if need be.
What are your thoughts?

Adding a Task - Nested Exception Error
When adding a task to a job post job creation a nested exception error is occurring. You can add piece by piece and save and it avoids the error but if you enter the whole task, plus actuals and complete at once then select save the error occurs.

Invoice Output for Non-Xero Users (and Xero User Billing Summary) #276
When looking at a Job in the JobList we can "expand" or "hide" the details to review for invoicing. Be great if this information could be printed off as a billing summary for a non-Xero client,
