Print Job Summary - After printing a Job Card doesnt print summary prints job card

When in a job from the Job List and you print a single jobcard for a task

and then go to print a job summary (top RHS)

...it prints the jobcard for the task just printed and not the job summary.

This has been resolved in the release 5th Oct; tested again this morning and after printing a job card the print function now prints the job summary- yay!

Seed Rate/ Fertiliser Rate - allow free text not just numbers

On the planting and cultivation template Seed Rate and Fertiliser Rate only allow numbers - we would like to put things like 105,000/ha or xBags/ha in here.

Improvement made in release on 5th Oct: tested again now and works with variable characters including special ones like 10L/ha :)

When loading a Job which uses the Job Card Type "Baling" please add a field for Bale Size.

Job Template - adding a service then removing causes nested exceptions error

If you add a service to a job template, then try and remove it again and select save - a nested exception error occurs and it doesnt save.

Order Number Field - allow free text entry

Please change the order number field to allow free text (not just numeric) and extend the character limit to 25?

Order no now allows free text/special characters entered. We are still looking at the best way to differentiate a Job Reference in the Job List and will raise another ticket for this to be tracked. Released Oct 5th .

Invoice Comment Field

Be awesome if we could have a Invoice Comment Field so Job Comments as well as other notes that we want the client to see can be added here and passed through to Xero and printed on the Invoice information for non-Xero customers

Default site address when creating a job

When adding a job one of the improvements requested is to add a default site address - if there is none selected as default you will need to add a site address.

Advice on which program to use for invoicing

Hello,

I want to create an invoice system for sequential Work Orders that automatically lookup description and cost of items in a 184979 line calc spreadsheet. I current use vlookup to return the information correctly but think a database would be better suited for generation of reports, printed invoices and work orders. I have programmed some with dBase3 and more extensively with Approach. I have no real experience with SQL or Access/Base. I have viewed quite a few of the tutorials on YouTube but still thought it wise to ask someone with more database experience than I, which would be almost anyone .

Add a duplicate task from the scheduler (time saver)

We have been discussing the possibility of benefits job flow may provide us by the addition of adding to the Scheduler a “+Task” button for our managers to use.   They are wanting the “+Task” button to be used similarly to how the “+Day” button works.

 

  • The “+Task” button would repeat the same task, complete with the resources already assigned to it for the next day.

 

  • The “+Task” button would have the flexibility to the allow the managers to either keep the existing resources assigned to the task or change them if required.

 

  • In the ”job screen” it would show the same task, same resources, but with next day’s date assigned to it.

 

  • The point of difference would be that any hours worked on the original task would Not be carried forward using the “+Task” button.

 

  • Our operators would complete/finish their task each day regardless of whether the whole task was finished or not - not just ”pause.”

 

We then see the hours worked for each individual task each day on the “job screen” instead of having to go into the activity log and separate out the hours worked each day.

 

Now we understand by doing this there may be a very long list of the same tasks showing up in the job screen because of this.  So, to assist in reducing this issue for billing/invoicing purposes, we have come up with the idea of adding (only on the “job screen”) a “+Total task calculation” button.

 

  • The “+Total task calculation” button would have the capability to allow us to choose or select which tasks we wanted to calculate together for total hours or hectares worked for that same task.

               

  • We are thinking it could be located at the bottom of the Job screen alongside the current buttons for “save job”, “+add job”, “duplicate job”, “duplicate with assignments”, etc

 

  • The total hours for the task would or could then be shown in the “Job summary section” in “Job Review” view on screen before being invoiced out.
